We are determined to help those in our local community to Kick Cancer's Can! Join us on Saturday, November 5, 2011 for a 5k Fun Run, Bake Sale and Activity Day where all proceeds will benefit Dani Thomas, a fun, spunky mother of three who is kicking cancer's can!!

In March of 2011 Dani discovered a lump in her breast. After some encouragement from a friend she went to the doctor. Preparing herself for the worse, Dani said she wasn't too shocked when the results came back as positive for Breast Cancer. Dani was determined to beat the cancer and started chemotherapy treatments right away. Dani, a customer service manager at Smith's Marketplace of Holladay, kept working through her chemotherapy and radiation to help make ends meet in her home. She said all she could do was just take it one day at a time. Although many days have been hard on her physically and emotionally draining she has kept a positive attitude and been able to maintain her positive outlook on life.
Dani has lived in Tooele for nine years and loves the environment that it has provided for her children to grow in. She is so grateful of the support of her neighbors and friends as she's gone through this difficult time and can't wait to be able to give back to the community.
